Someone dropped a cat on my door step and it attacked me?

a random stranger dropped a cat on my door this morning and and it was so cute and fluffy it let me touch it and everything.Then, my dog saw it and it attacked me leaving bite and claw marks on my leg. after wich both the cat and dog battled for about 2 min. when finally the cat ran of to one of the neibors home. later i did hear barking and such suggesting it got in a fight with that dog to. i have bandeged my wounds and put antibiotic ointment on it, also i ned to get a shot. is there anything else i should do???

JEEP Owners! 1995 KGC with rear latch broke?

One report said the latch breakage was typical. Said that the only way to access it to repair was to have it opened! Since it is shut, they had to drill a hole from the bottom of the door, then unlatch it, then drill out the rivets, remove the latch, and replace it. So, we thought that his eyes had air (lots of eye boogers) because when he was a kitty, his eyes would close up a lot. We let him be like that because we thought he was going to heal. He is a very healthy cat and usually his wounds heal up fast as so did his eyes do when he was a kitty. A week ped by and nothing happened. I soon saw his right eye bleeding with wet eye boogers and on top of the eye, hair removed. I think a car might of hit him because he can't see with his right eye, his natural eye is avocado green and this it was like a disease bluish and now it is more red and mixed with a little of that blue. Point is, I didn't take him to the vet or emergency because: 1. We thought he was gonna heal 2. We didn't check him well 3. It costs too much to fix pets (I once had a cat who was so kind and she wanted to share food with my dog and that dog doesn't like to share her food and bit her head and my poor kitties eye popped out of her head, it didn't fall, and we took her to the vet emergency and they charged us $1,000 just to push her eye in and sew it up) I don't want him to keep on suffering, so what should I do? Take him to be put to sleep or call animal control? Will any of them get mad at us for not taking care of him and maybe take legal action, charge us a penalty, fine, punish us? How much would they charge to put him to sleep? Will animal control charge us to pick him up? PLEASE HELP!

Puppy born 4/19/11, he is sick! Any one know how to help?

My girl had her puppies on the 19th... She had 4, one was still born & the other three made it. Well we have been noticing the only boy in the group... He still is the size he was the day he came out, he doesnt eat, he had runny poo, his skin seemed like he was dehydrated. He also cant move around like the other two & he doesnt whine really loud like them either. Tonight, we checked on her & she had him away from her & the other two & when he would attempt to get to her, she would push him back. We even tried helping him onto her nipple so he could eat, and she kicked him off... So, I decided to try to care for him. Right now I have him in a little plastic box wrapped in a wash cloth & in a big fleece blanket, with a warm water bottle beside him. He wont eat a bottle, Ive been using a syrange (sp?) to try to give him formula & sugar water. I clean him with cotton dipped in warm water. Anyone know of anything else to do for this baby? Any ideas on feedings?? Any help will help alot!

Dressage Schooling show apparel ideas?

Going to be doing some schooling shows in the near future. Last year I showed in the Fall, so a vest over a long sleeved shirt was weather appropriate and neat. For summer, I am thinking my polar fleece vest would look very out of place and ridiculous. I could wear a polo, but the problem is I do not feel comfortable with how I look with the polo tucked into my breeches, the look is not flattering on me, and I know that my self consciousness will translate into my ride. Has anyone seen any light weight summer vests anywhere? Or even polo type shirts that are banded at the bottom so you get the tucked in look without actually having to tuck them in? Would it be absolutely awful to not tuck my shirt in?

Would it be safe to use those stick on tiles to cover wire mesh on the levels of my rats new cage?

I was going to buy a Critter Nation cage, but then I remembered that I have an old plastic and wire rabbit cage that's much larger than the CN (48" x 36" x 36"). The only problem with it is that it is one level, so I'd need to add a couple levels to it so thy can enjoy themselves more. All I can think of to make the levels is hardware cloth but i don't want my girls' feet to be on wire all day (though the bottom of the cage is solid). I was thinking I could just use those stick on tiles from the hardware store and cut them to fit the new shelves. Would this be safe? I don't want to use wood because wood will absorb pee and it'll begin to smell after a while, and my girls tear fleece to shreds so I can't really use that. If tile isn't safe what is? Or, what could I make the shelving out of that is solid?

Birthday Idea for boyfriend?

I don't know if this helps at all. I had the same girlfriend for 2 and a half years, I loved her completely. Towards the end things started to go sour and we had to end it. Even though I was the one that broke up with her, it was obvious I was the one that got hurt more. I desperately needed closure but I knew that I was better off without her so I just left her alone and tried to get on with my life. Eventually, without even trying, I got the closure I needed. So my best advice to you is to try and get on with your life. It will hurt sometimes, but in the end, things will work out for the best.

Rat cage help please, can't find any?

I'm thinking of getting rats but I'm not sure where to get the cage from. I do NOT want the base to be grated, the platforms would be okay because I could cover that with fleece or something else. Guinea pig separation anxiety?

Hi everyone! I have 4 beautiful texel guinea pigs..1 male and 3 female..2 of the females are the babys (now 7 months old)...they are all great pigs i just have some questions. first is one of the sow kids is suuper shy, runs away when you try and pick it up and does not purr when you pet it. just seems a little odd when all my other guinea pigs love being picked up and purr and just overall love human interaction. any reason why this is? my second question is the black boar seems to be very moody. Sometimes he is very aggressive/ territorial and other times it seems like hes nice. i notice when i pet/ hold the others or clean the cage he will chatter his teeth( like every single time). this is the only pig that chatters his teeth. should i give him to a responsible owner( a vet that wants him) because he loves human interaction just has his weird points which i don't know what sparks it. if i did get rid of him will the 3 sows get separation anxiety and vise versa. will this effect them negatively. And my last question is i use towels/ fleece as bedding, but i recently realized that 2 of my pigs pick at the towels.. like they eat the soft fuzzy stuff...what is this behavior all about/ why are they doing this? is there a way to prevent it. i recently got them some willow chew sticks and it seems like they have stopped. Opinions from experienced rat owners, what is the best cage, diet, bedding, etc.?

I have 2 female rats and did lot's of research before I got them. I read many different opinions and now I am just curious to hear some experienced owners share what has worked for them and why. So just what cage do you like the most? Why? and same for diet, bedding, care, cleaning tips (like what kind of disinfectant works best), and just general things you know that you think would be helpful. Websites are also nice. My current situation is a large, converted bird cage, with added levels, and hammocks. The levels are covered with fleece, but I have to use little mini binder clips to keep it attached to the levels and it is tedious to clip and un-clip the fleece when I change it. I use Healthy pet dust free cat litter in the bottom-- it is made of cellulose. Their diet it Harlan Teklad lab blocks, with a healthy treat mix (dried noodles, cheerios, oats, etc.) and some fresh fruit or veggies. I have been having trouble with socialization, Hiccup really doesn't like being held so it is hard to get her put back in the cage after free time. Also been trying to teach "come" but seems like they only come when they want to, and I can't get them to go back into their cage sometimes without picking them up, which is really difficult with Hiccup. So just tips and suggestions, and stuff like that would be helpful as well!

Sever pain in my upper thigh?

I will start by saying that I have had back and spine trouble since a failing trauma since 2002. I have had 11 spinal surgeries with 7 fusions over the past 9 years from L1 thru S1. I have had hardware installed and then removed due to MRSA and Ostimyolitsis infections that have been chronic to present accompied with open non healing wounds over the surgical sites. * pic lines with vanco and a mulitude of other antibiotics. I have experinced sever pain in my lower bcak and pelvis since the initial injury as time goes on it gets worse. I am currently being treated by a large PM hospital at a majior university. Recently I have been getting unbarable radiating pain that starts in my lower spine travles down my right side over the upper hip through the intersection of the side and front of my thigh to the knee. This usualy occurs if I have been standing or walking (with my cane short distances) for any amount of time. It is best discribed as a stabbing pain that feeles like waking up form surgery having a blacksmiths red hot iron implanted in the area. This may last from several seconds to several minuites. It is usualy helpful to move at my waist and or sitting down. I have not yet brought it up to my PM clinic hoping it would just be a non related pain to my spine. I have talked with my PC doctor who thinks I should see the neurosurgeron. The neurosurgeron looking over my complete history said due to the nature of the injury and the complexity of the the surgeries that he would not preform the surgey but does think that it is caused by one of my many herniated and degenerative discs. due to the infections and many hospitalizations I have no hardwarre support implanted in my spine but several BMP fusions were attempted with no success. A MRI would help but can not be preformed due to PM and other heart implantations. What suggestions would you have?

Whats Wrong With My Rabbit?

A few months ago i noticed some scabs appear on my bunnies rear end.. they weren't bleeding or looked sore but i got her some shampoo and some cream for itchy spots and wounds etc.. but it wasn;t till yesterday that i noticed they had become really sore and had spread to her hind legs / spine part of her back.. i bathed her and put some cream on but im not sure what it was. i firstly thought it was fly strike but there was no sign of maggots or bleeding.. so im guessing it might be a flea allergy or maybe shes illgeric to something? but im not sure what to do.. does anyone know costs for vets for a rabbit or got any advice. thankyou!

How can I find inexpensive housing for my family?

My boyfriend, our 18 month old son and I have been renting my Aunts basement for about a year now. My boyfriend has a steady job and I stay home with our son. I have been desperately searching for a night job so that we wont have to pay day care and I keep coming up dry. Will someone interpret my dream?

I was falling from the ceiling into a chair made of what looked to be cellulite or cottage cheese or something... I just remember smelling this overwhelming odor. It smelled like Old Spice & cigarettes & some kind of candy. It was a good smell, but I just started crying... and at that moment, I realized I was in a waiting room in a hospital & I didn't know why or what I was there to see. I just sat there picking at my EXTREMELY elastic-like skin. Then, the nurse at the front desk called me into the back. So I stood, not really knowing where I was going. I walked down a long hallway with floating black balloons but i had to keep ducking underneath them because the strings would sting me like jellyfish. So I made it to the end of the hallway and walked through the door and into a room made of windows that was up really high. There was this lady I had never met lying in a hospital bed, but the bed was made of school desks covered in tarps, but they looked like newspapers. There were these bugs & spiders crawling out of her like she wasn't even alive. I tried to ask her who she was, but no sound would come from my mouth no matter how much I screamed. A nurse came in & put a straight jacket on me...and quickly, the straight jacket became stained with blood. I asked the nurse why, & she said that bleeding without wounds was a side effect of the glue I had ingested. So I opened my mouth & all this dust & birds flew out, and the birds were holding little bags of Elmer's Glue. Then I look over at the lady, and she looked older. I looked in the mirror that randomly appeared, and realized I was older as well. I looked around & realized I was in a museum of my writings, but they started melting & then I was back in the waiting room holding a black balloon, wearing rubber gloves that said "Hospice."

Why does it hurt to think and look at a girl I like?

I'm 23 years old. This girl I've liked for 8 years now has no interest in being with me. We used to be best friends but now we kind of went our separate ways. I had a dream that my stomach and chest were hurting so I lifted up my shirt to see if I had a bruise there. When I did (this is a little disgusting) I had all of these open wounds in my stomach and chest and you could see some of my organs. Uh why don't you just use carefresh/aspen. What exactly is the point of lining the whole cage with fleece? Most people use fleece when their pets are litter trained, so they don't have to use anything else. If you are already planning on using shavings, you don't need fleece. It's just more cleaning, and more stress. Chinchillas are aggressive chewers, and will shred any cloth in their cage. The fleece will not last long at all.

Hay bedding how often should I clean?

Hi, I have decided to make the switch from fleece bedding to timothy hay for my guinea pigs. I had one of these parrots for about a year (bought him when he was 2 months old) so he is still a baby now.Recently i heated some milk in the microwave and the bird since it was out at the time went right after the milk.It was very hot but he still drank it.He dipped his head into the milk and i didn't notice it fast enough as i went to the toilet in the meantime.The next day his feathers were raised slightly on his head and the day after that (in the morning when i woke up) I found that he was scratching his head the entire night.All of the feathers on the top of his head fell out his skin turned black i don't know if he was bleeding or not but he kept scratching his head for the entire day and even though the top of his head looked horrible (it was completely black like it was burnt or as if a wound was healing).He acted normally and didn't seem to be in any pain but his head was horribly wounded and he wouldn't stop.he will probably scratch it while i sleep again tonight.I apologize for my horrible english but its not my native language and any advice you could give would be much appreciated

My guinea pig wont let my touch a single hair on her?

Is litter training young female rats a waste?

Most rats are easily trained, but some never get it. Like dogs, some are just faster learners than others. How long have you been trying this? It could take a while for them to catch on. Make sure their entire cage is cleaned thoroughly (change sheets and wipe down). Make sure none of their scent is anywhere other than their litter box. It can take a couple months before they catch on, but just be persistent. :) Hope it works out.

How do you stop a camping bag from hurting your shoulders?

I'm doing my Duke of Edinburgh final expidition and when I put my bag on it really hurts my shoulders. My bag has a little bit of padding on it which helps a little. FLEECE FOR GUINEA PIG CAGE?

I have a C&C cage and right now for the bottom i have towels over lino, over a woodboard. The towles smell SUPER bad because of guinea pig pee. I've heard that i can put news paper under towels, under fleece (from pet store)so it does not smell as bad. Is this correct?? Is the special fleece for guinea pigs absorbant?? What kind is best?? Frustration with registering for clothes- it's the wrong season?

All the registry guides I have tell you how much layette to register for- pants, sleep & plays, onesies, side snap shirts, socks, hats etc. I'm not due until the fall but my shower is in August, and everything in stores between now and Aug. is summery! How am I supposed to register for fleece sleep & plays like all my friends have? In my dream, my son is stabbed to death, what's its meaning?

I saw myself walking in a narrow page with my adult son. We were attacked by a guy who stabbs him in the stomach. I feel very anguished about it and approached the killer who still has the knife in the hand and pushed myself against it, thinking that if my son is dead I would rather be dead too. I usually use a green cotton sheet. Bright green. You can sometimes use a bright blue. Or sometimes what I do when I rather not spend so much money on sheets. his sheath may need to be cleaned(once its healed) if they are attracted to it that much. Obviously it is dirty if they are attracted to it that much. I use endure and it is the BEST fly spray I have ever used. It has a silicone base so it stays on even when they are sweating(again, don't spray fly spray on his sheath until it has healed). My days are usually just me being really paranoid. Maybe about once a week a have a day where I'm just sad and don't want to get up or watch tv and have no appetite at all. And usually I have one day where I'm really mad and all I want to do is sleep. Even when I think I feel fine my friends usually tell me I seem like I'm sad. I'm overly sensitive, but if I read a story about Columbine or a wounded dog I will hardly feel sad, but I cried at the episode of Family Guy where Brian talks about killing himself. I'm about to cry just writing about it. It's like I have a "trigger-word" for crying. I'm usually only happy around my friends, but it's genuine happiness. They're the ones I feel the most paranoid about, though. The slightest things they do make me really cynical. I get so anxious from the paranoia that it feels like I'm shaking but it's just on the inside. Sometimes I just start crying because my mind's set on default that if I don't have anything to think about I think about myself. I just feel like a failure and the only reason I'm only still here is because I have people that care about me and need me, and I feel so ungrateful that it hardly helps at all. When I feel sad I don't even want to talk to anyone. When I was younger I didn't have some cliche "huge scarring of my life". The only think that could even hardly be clified as that is when I was younger I only had one friend but then my parents divorced and I didn't live by her anymore(I still lived in the same school district, though), and then I starting getting on the internet a lot. My parents got back together a few times after that. I now live in a blended family, and they're tolerable but sometimes they push me to my boiling point. I still talk to my dad, he lives with his girlfriend and her kids. They're all tolerable most of the time. I'll be honest, I'm only fourteen, but I've been suicidal since I was 9 or 10. I attempted once when I was 10, but it was really pathetic and I've never told my mom. Sometimes I just get so mad I wanna tell her and make her feel guilty but I know I'll regret it. I don't self-harm, I've only cut once with a box cutter when I was 10. It was on my arm my mom never seen it because I had long sleeves and jackets. It was like a tic-tac-toe board but I only have one scar from it. My mom found a paper once when I was 9 and it was ways I could kill myself. I was just angry I was just taking out frustration but it eventually became a joke. I vividly remember putting down "cut off my arm" on it. I think my mom's suppressed that memory, though. She's never brought it up since. My parents divorced when I was 7, but it was probably for the best and I'm really not bitter about it. Right now I'm in one on one of my sad days but it started happy, then paranoid, then angry, then I was alright, now I'm just sad. I truly think my life isn't that bad, but I just can't be happy. I had a consultation with my doctor today to see if he could advise on a long term problem I have been having with my lower leg. His early prognosis was that it sounded like Peripheral Vascular Disease until he took the pulse in my foot, leg and groin. The pulse was good, so he was at a loss to explain what is causing my problem and has referred me to see a specialist in the local hospital. the hospital waiting lists are fairly long apparently so I was hoping someone may have a theory as to what is wrong so I can adopt any self-help measures as soon as possible.

I had a dream care to interpret?- hospital /identity /soldier / religion?

starting from where i can remember: I was hurrying through the halls and doors of what i presume was a hospital, and nurses came running to me thinking i was a doctor, i believe now it was some m emergency, i said i was not (i had an employee name tag) but as i looked at it my name was david and the last name was different but it did say i was a doctor. i ran to a room full of wounded soldiers, i asked for my right name tag back, but none would provide. i dont know if i was told or if i came to the realization that they were quarantined not sick or diseased just no one was allowed to move about. then i looked at myself and found i was in fatigues and some gear but the name tag and title were still there on my chest. someone asked how i was able to move around freely i said 'they believe im a doctor' it goes fuzzy but then i remember i was one of the last ones in this building; i had the distinct feeling and knowing that everyone was dead. next thing i knew i was going to rendezvous with a group of other soldiers in the same building. i presume they were not honorable or good at all, because i took a sidearm with a suppressor and tucked it into the back of my pants ;and when i approached the men i stood at ease to conceal my side arm from them and waited for whatever came next. it goes fuzzy again, but what rings in my head is screaming, not knowing if its myself or another, but screaming ' IM A SOLDIER!!' over and over again. the next thing i remember is crawling, and being so dirty and hurt, cold, and wet; and reaching for something glowing, its like a touch pad, window, mirror i dont know what; but it was a doent or contract of sorts and i struggled to write my name with my finger, fogging it consistently with my breath to see what i write by my finger. theres a dark force behind me, it takes many shapes, one of the bad soldier/officers, and others i dont remember i never turn around to see; but one thought came to mind when i felt its pressence- devil. i dont remember what transpired but i do remember before i woke up i signed that doent, and told him i pledged myself to God. then i woke up..

I am just curious if you would be interest in watching a movie about this. The movie would be about boy soldiers in the first world war. It would follow a group of friends aged 13-15 at the outbreak of WW1. The feel a sense of patriotism to their country and sign up to fight. The movie follows the boys from when the join up to fight in war and when they are on the battlefield. The movie shows the boys training to be soldiers and the hell they face while fighting. They see fellow soldiers die and being wounded. They have to deal with killing fellow men and trench warfare. What do you think of this being a movie?

I am looking for something that i can put on the floor so that my baby can play that won't attract all the dog hair. I have a fleece play mat that was made for me but it attracts all the dog hair. What should I do with my cat? ?

So, we thought that his eyes had air (lots of eye boogers) because when he was a kitty, his eyes would close up a lot. We let him be like that because we thought he was going to heal. He is a very healthy cat and usually his wounds heal up fast as so did his eyes do when he was a kitty. A week ped by and nothing happened. I soon saw his right eye bleeding with wet eye boogers and on top of the eye, hair removed. I think a car might of hit him because he can't see with his right eye, his natural eye is avocado green and this it was like a disease bluish and now it is more red and mixed with a little of that blue. Point is, I didn't take him to the vet or emergency because: 1. We thought he was gonna heal 2. We didn't check him well 3. It costs too much to fix pets (I once had a cat who was so kind and she wanted to share food with my dog and that dog doesn't like to share her food and bit her head and my poor kitties eye popped out of her head, it didn't fall, and we took her to the vet emergency and they charged us $1,000 just to push her eye in and sew it up) I don't want him to keep on suffering, so what should I do? Take him to be put to sleep or call animal control? Will any of them get mad at us for not taking care of him and maybe take legal action, charge us a penalty, fine, punish us? How much would they charge to put him to sleep? Will animal control charge us to pick him up? PLEASE HELP! And please don't tell me that I shouldn't have animals if I can't afford them. I can totally afford it ( put it on my credit card), I just don't want another $1,000 on my bill if I can't keep him in the end because we are moving to an apartment. And my cat isn't an indoor cat, he is an outdoor cat.

What all do I need to be ready for an 8 week old kitten?

Okay so in about 5 weeks I will be getting an 8 week old kitten from my best friend. Its been a long time since I have had a kitten, and I am just double checking to see if I am going to be getting everything I need. Im not going to go to the pet supply store for a while, so I still have some time. Ive been looking online every once and a while to see if I have forgotten anything that I need on my list. Now I already have 4 adult cats. On my list I have 2 bowls for food and water, I can use our other cat food plates for the wet cat food. dry cat food, wet cat food, clay kitty litter, a smaller litter box, because we have 4 main coons, and they use a bigger litter box. I also have toys obviously. We dont put collars on our cats, because it messes up the fur on the back of their necks (we used to show them, and it was bad to have a collar on them) we already have a pet carrier so I dont need to worry about that... I seriously feel like Im fogetting something, but maybe its just me being paranoid.. LOL

Ha ha! This is a lot of clothing. I think its too much. Don't use 5 pairs of fuzzy socks, only one pair. 1 fleece blanket, and everything else is fine. Where to find a guinea pig bedding (not wood shaving)?

I've gone to any shop that sells fabric and gotten some end remnants. That's usually the bits that are left over after the rest of the bolt of fabric is gone; they sell them fairly inexpensively because they're odd sizes. Here in the US I've found them at Kmart or Walmart. The only problem is that some guinea pigs like to chew on the fabric, and if they swallow it, that could be a problem. Just keep an eye on them, and if it looks like they're eating it, you might want to try something different.

I was defending a friend in a fight and....?

Basically, we were at the beach. Me and a bunch of friends. Some chavs from our school walked by and started throwing sand and rocks at us (me in particular) when my friend - lets call him Tim - gets fed up and goes over to tell them where to go. One of the chavs, he can be called Kyle, grabbed him and started punching in in the face and head for a no reason. Tim was helpless and no one was helping so I instinctively ran over to get Kyle off Tim. It was a struggle and all I could think to do was claw and bite at Kyle's back. I was in a blind rage and nothing could stop me until Kyle threw me off and was moving towards me when 2 strangers come over and restrain him. Anyway, a few weeks later its all over the school and Kyle had been showing people his back and photos were going round of it. The wounds are pretty deep and it looks like he's been whipped multiple times - all where i had scratched. My nails arent particularly sharp or long but those marks were definately made by me. Can anyone tell me how I managed to inflict these injuries without me even being properly aware?
